ABOUT
For this project, I redesigned the book jacket for Chris Colfer's "The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell."
I have loved this book since I read it in elementary school when it first came out, always fascinated by fairytales. Though I love the book's original art, I wanted to take a different spin on the story. I was inspired by classic fairytale illustrations and Medieval pattern designs. I aimed to use a simple style for the human characters combined with detailed patterns and textures to mimic these older styles.
